6.3.6 Changing the height display unit

The height can be shown on the display (optional) in either centimetres or inches. The unit can be changed
by following the instructions below. If the display was set to centimetres before, it will be in inches after the
conversion (and vice versa). Proceed as follows to change the unit:

USB charger

Some control element offer the option of charging small devices such as smartphones via a USB port.
Depending on the control element, a charging current of between 0.5 and 1.5 A is available is on this port.

Workstation ergonomics

An ergonomically ideal workstation setting (chair adjustment, desk height and possibly a footrest) is vital for
a correct sitting posture in the workplace. You can find guidelines for adjusting your workstation and designing
your working environment in the Occupational Safety and Health Act, in the Ordinance for Work with Visual
Display Units, and in the accident prevention regulations.
It is advisable to frequently alternate between sitting and standing.
1. Use the "down" button to move the desk into its bottommost position. Then
press the "down" button again for at least 5 seconds.
"RST" is now shown, flashing, on the display.
2. Press and hold the memory position button 2 until 10.3 or 10.4 is shown on
the display.
The current setting is shown on the display:
- 10.3 is the setting for centimetres
- 10.4 is the setting for inches
Now press the "down" button again until the desk moves down slightly and then
up again. Only release the button once the desk has stopped moving. If the
button is released too soon, this causes a desk malfunction. If the button was
released early by accident, you must repeat the reset process as described in
Section 5.
