Intended use

This desk may only be used as an office desk in a professional setting. The desk may not be modified. This
desk must be assembled, put into operation and subjected to a function check by qualified personnel. This
desk may only be used for any purpose other than that mentioned above with the approval of Sedus Systems
GmbH.
1.2

Features and function

The basic function of the desk is the motorised height adjustment of the desktop.
The height can be adjusted with all the controls.
Additional functions include the saving and selecting of positions; a control with memory function is necessary
for this.
Sufficiently long cables must be provided for peripheral equipment (e.g. monitor, CPU).
Electrical wiring must be secured with cable relief.
The motorised height adjustment has a range of between 650 mm and 1,280 mm (double telescope version).
The maximum load capacity for model temptation c smart / smart twin must not exceed 75 kg (evenly
distributed across the desktop).
The maximum load capacity for model temptation c speed / twin speed must not exceed 50 kg (evenly
distributed across the desktop).
This desk is equipped with a collision detection system. This system only provides system protection, not
personal protection!

Target group and prior knowledge

These operating instructions are intended for the following groups of persons:

Service personnel who assemble the desks and put them into operation
• Furniture fitters and maintenance personnel who put the desks into operation in showrooms or on the end
customer's premises
• Users of this desk
The following knowledge and skills are necessary for assembling the desks and putting them into operation:
•
Basic knowledge of mechanics and electrical engineering (relevant training)
• Reading the user instructions
