4.3.2 Procedure for putting the desk into operation

Caution: Only plug in the power supply cable/mains cable once all the other electrical
connections have been established! (All the motors and the control element are connected to
the control unit.)
Each lifting column of the motorised, adjustable desks from the temptation c smart/speed and temptation
smart twin/speed range is equipped with a motor. Parallel movement and proper functioning of the memory
function are guaranteed by the software in the control box, even at an irregular load. A soft start and soft stop
function is also part of this software. It enables gentle starting and stopping of the desk.
The control box may not be wrapped in thermally insulating material; instead, it must be positioned so that
heat can be transferred to the surrounding area. There are no ventilation slots to consider – the control box
emits heat via its surface.
When the control box is assembled, the mains plug must be visible so that it can be unplugged at any time if
necessary.
Proceed as follows to put the desk into operation:
