8.1

Wearing parts

Wearing parts must be replaced by customer service within the prescribed maintenance inter-
vals.

8.2 Cleaning

Clean your BWT bestaqua 16 ROC with a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent. In order to protect
the surfaces of the device, do not use any alcohols, bleaches or solvents.

8.3 Standard IEC 60335-1

This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with impaired physical,
sensory or intellectual abilities or by people without experience or knowledge. Competent
persons must provide training on handling the device in advance and be able to give clear
operating instructions under supervision.
Ensure that children do not play with the device.
In order to prevent hazards, a damaged electricity cable must be replaced by the manu-
facturer, a service provider of the manufacturer, or similarly qualified persons.
Please check visually (see Section 5.1) whether the water hoses are undamaged.

According to BGV A3 (VBG4), electrical safety must be checked every 4 years.

8.4 Disposal

The device BWT bestaqua 16 ROC consists of various materials, which must be dis-
posed of properly.
Please commission your contractual partner with proper, environmentally friendly dis-
posal. Please do not dispose of used batteries in household waste.
All electronic components should only be disposed of at authorised valuable sub-
stance collection points
