• Pull the seat sling as tight as you need and fix in place using the
hook and loop fastener (Fig. 26).
• Put your seat cushion back on the seat surface.

4.6.2. Back slack

A well-adjusted backrest will mean that you can sit for long periods of
time more comfortably and reduces the risk of pressure sores. When
doing this make sure there is sufficient slack in the pelvic area!
• First remove the cushion support of the backrest sling completely
(Fig. 27).
• Undo the hook and loop fastener on the straps (Fig. 28).
• Adjust the straps in sequence, starting from the bottom
• Put the cushion support back over the tension straps.

4.7. Brakes

As standard, the wheelchair is fitted with parking brakes to be opera-
ted by the wheelchair user. Optionally, you can expand the system add
a drum brake, which is operated by an attendant.
The dealer can adjust the drum brake by using the
assembly instructions.
To adjust the brakes, contact your dealer. Please bear
in mind that if the brakes are set incorrectly this can
have life-threatening consequences.
The parking brakes must not be used as operational
brakes, as there is a risk of death due to the risk of
falling!
