q Chain and Rear Tire Replacement

Loosen screws and remove
chain guard.

Loosen both axle adjusters
an equal amount, approximately
5 turns.

Maneuver chain onto
sprocket and slip axle into slots
on frame.

Install axle adjusters and
axle nuts. Tighten until they just
barely hold hardware in place.

Loosen brake cable anchor
and disconnect cable.

Loosen axle. Slide wheel
forward to loosen chain.

Align cable guide adjuster.
Install spacer and bolt. Do not
tighten until final step.

Tighten both axle adjust-
ers the same number of turns to
fine-tune tension on the chain and
center wheel.

Loosen brake housing anchor
and disconnect. Keep spacer
and bolts together.

Remove wheel.

Install brake spring and
thread cable wire into cable an-
chor. Thread cable to its original
position. Tighten securely.

Tighten brake housing
anchor securely. Test ride.
Readjust as needed.
