INSTALLING THE VALVE ASSEMBLY

Insert the valve tool into the case, aligning the
two ribs on the inside of the case. Push the handle
of the tool down until it reaches the bottom of the
case. Then push down firmly on the tool to seat the
valve and the snap rings. Remove the valve tool,
and check to see that the snap rings are in place.
Reinstall the internal, upper snap ring and snap
ring cover. Turn on the water and test the valve by
operating the sprinkler manually. See page 6 for
instructions under MANUAL OPERATION.

REPLACING THE SOLENOID ASSEMBLY

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Turn off the water to the sprinkler, and make sure the plunger
area of the selector assembly is kept clean and free from debris.
Required Tool: Selector Valve key

Twist the red cap counterclockwise
and remove it. Slide the U-frame and coil
assembly off the solenoid tube (post).

Using the selector valve key, place the key
against the solenoid basenut and align with the
holes in the basenut. Holding the tool firmly, twist
counterclockwise and remove the solenoid tube
(post)/basenut and plunger assembly.

Before reinstalling the new solenoid assembly,
be sure the O-ring is seated properly. Place the
solenoid tube (post)/basenut and plunger
assembly against the selector housing and hand
tighten. Firmly tighten the basenut with the
selector valve key.

Slide the U-frame and coil onto the solenoid
tube (post) and reinstall the red cap.

Corte el suministro de agua del rociador y asegúrese que la zona

Inserte la herramienta en la caja, alineándola
con las dos nervaduras del interior de la caja.
Empuje la palanca de la herramienta hacia abajo
hasta que toque el fondo de la caja. Después
empujar la herramienta firmemente hacia abajo
para asentar la válvula y los anillos elásticos. Quite
la herramienta insertadora de válvula y compruebe
que los anillos elásticos se encuentren en su lugar
debido. Reinstale el anillo elástico superior interno
y la tapa de anillo elástico. Abra el suministro de
agua y pruebe el funcionamiento de la válvula
accionando el rociador manualmente. Consulte la

DEL SOLENOIDE

Gire la tapa roja en sentido contrahorario y
quítela. Deslice el conjunto de armazón en "U" y
de bobina para quitarlo del tubo (poste) del
solenoide.

Coloque la llave de válvula selectora contra la
tuerca de base del solenoide y alinéela con los
agujeros de la tuerca de base. Sujete la herramienta
firmemente, gírela en sentido contrahorario y quite
el conjunto de tubo (poste)/tuerca de base y
émbolo del solenoide.

Antes de instalar un conjunto de solenoide
nuevo, asegúrese que su anillo "O" esté bien
asentado. Coloque el conjunto de tubo
(poste)/tuerca de base y émbolo del solenoide
contra la envuelta del selector y apriételo a mano.
Apriete la tuerca de base bien firme usando la llave
de válvula selectora

Coloque el conjunto de armazón en "U" y de
bobina en el tubo (poste) del solenoide y vuelva a
instalar la tapa roja.
