Caution! Material damage is possible!
Always make sure that the pre-filter, filter plug and sintered filter disc are
properly installed before using the tool.

Remove the heating head, as described in Chapter 8.4.
With tweezers, carefully remove the sintered filter
disc from the silicone holder.
Clean the sintered filter disc in an alcohol bath. Con-
sider using an ultrasonic bath to remove stubborn dirt.
Insert a new sintered filter disc into the silicone
holder.
Re-assemble the heating head, as described in Chapter
8.4.
Re-install the residual solder pot.
Disconnect the tool from the control station and let it
cool to room temperature.
Remove the tip and the residual solder pot.
Press the two latches
head cover and pull this off.
Carefully pull out the heating head with the silicone
holder.
Remove the silicone holder.
Place the silicone holder on the new heating head.
Install the new heating head and close the heating
head cover again.
Re-insert the tip and the residual solder pot.
Re-connect the tool to the control station.
