Caution! Burns are possible!
The residual solder pot can heat up during desoldering. Let the tool cool
down to room temperature before removing the residual solder pot.
Place a warm residual solder pot only on heat resistant surfaces.
The sintered filter disc should be cleaned respectively replaced at each filter
plug change.

Let the tool cool down to room temperature.
■
With a rotational movement, pull the residual solder pot
out of the holder.
■
To re-install the residual solder pot, press it back into the
holder with a rotary motion until the edge of the contain-
er is level with the marking on the handle.

Remove the residual solder pot, as described in Chap-
ter 8.3.1.
■
Remove the filter plug from the residual solder pot.
■
Remove the lid of the residual solder pot with a rotary
motion.
■
Clean the residual solder pot e.g. with the Ersa clean-
ing brush, order no. 3N090.
■
Insert a new filter plug. It must be pushed backwards
up to the narrowing of the residual solder pot ①.
■
Close the residual solder pot again.
