MAINTENANCE & TROUBLESHOOTING
The Life Fitness DAP Console requires little maintenance and has been designed to withstand the
environment of a fitness facility. However, please review our recommendations and instructions
regarding cleaning and troubleshooting the Life Fitness DAP Console. Failure to follow these
instructions may void the warranty.

Cleaning

Clean the Life Fitness DAP Console using a soft clean cloth. Lightly dampen the clean cloth with a
mild soap and water solution and wipe the product. Do not use too much solution on the cloth and
do not spray or pour any solution directly on the products. Doing so could cause damage to the
LCD panel.
Caution: Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners to clean the screen. Do not use any solvents
such as alcohol, paint thinner or acidic cleaners.

Troubleshooting

If the Console appears to have a problem, try the solutions below. If the problem persists,
contact Life Fitness Customer Support Services as outlined in Service in the next section.

Service

Any service, other than cleaning, must be performed by an authorized service representative.
For information about product service or operation, please refer to page 1 of this manual for the
appropriate contacts.
Note: Do not attempt to service the Console except for the service described in this manual.

Returning Equipment to Life Fitness

To return equipment to Life Fitness for any reason, you must contact Life Fitness to obtain a return
maintenance authorization (RMA) number (see page 1 for contact information). When you request an
RMA number, please explain why the equipment should be returned.
Note: Equipment must be shipped with an RMA number in order for Life Fitness to process
the return.
Any equipment received without an RMA number will be returned to the sender.
