Thermal disinfection procedure:
By turning the key switch the entire system will shift into thermal disinfection operation mode.
This will disable all functions and flushing. After a 30 s safety delay the first device starts with
thermal disinfection.
The disinfection cycle will be indicated by a rapidly flashing head shower icon and lasts 12 minutes.
The bypass magnetic valve will be unlocked. With activated scalding protection (DIP 1 = ON, see page
38) the procedure will be immediately aborted if a user enters the devices active area (see page 29).
In this case the thermal disinfection will start again after 2 minutes without user recognition.
Provide for adequate ventilation to ensure proper operation of the scalding protection (see page 36).
After closing the bypass magnetic valve a 10 s lasting flush with the temperature set at the thermo-
stat will be perfomred in any case. The head shower icon lights up permanently to indicate that the
disinfection cycle for the device has been completed. Then the procedure will be repeated for the
remaining devices.
By returning the key switch back, the thermal disinfection will immediately be aborted and the cur-
rent disinfecting device will perform a 10 s flush with the temperature set at the thermostat handle.
By turning the key switch on again, ther thermal disinfection will start with the first device again.
