APPLIANCE SAFETY SYSTEMS
- SHUTOFF VALVE: valve with thermocouple to shut
off the gas supply to the main burner if the pilot flame
goes out. To restore operation, repeat the operations
for pilot flame ignition.
PART REPLACEMENT
- For all models, slacken the screws on the lower edge
of the control panel cover to remove for access to
parts requiring replacement.
1) Shutoff valve: All couplings are exposed. With
suitable tools, slacken gas inlet, outlet, pilot and
thermocouple connections. Replace valve and
reconnect the pilot burner and thermocouple.
2) Burner: To replace the burner, slacken the screw of
the nozzle holder and the two screws securing the
burner to the combustion chamber to remove the
burner from its seat. Remove the nozzle holder union
from the burner support bracket by slackening the
relative securing nut. Replace burner and reassemble.
3) Thermocouple: Slacken the securing nut connecting
the thermocouple to the pilot nozzle and remove the
thermocouple from its seat. Fit the new thermocouple
and reassemble.
4) Spark plug: To replace, disconnect the wire and
slacken the securing nut.
5) Water feeding hose: in case of replacement (for
models of the 900 range only) make sure that the hose
does not lean the combustion chamber.
