Establishing a water supply

Requirements
• Supply hose: Garden hose with fitted
quick connector (included in delivery);
Ø 13 mm (½ ); length between 5 m
and 30 m
• Domestic water connection with a
system separator; pump capacity of at
least 550 l/h.
Alternatively using water suction func-
tion and suction hose with filter basket
(not included in delivery): standing,
clean water, e.g. rain barrel
System separator
A system separator (check valve) prevents
the backflow of water and cleaning agent
into the drinking water pipeline.
• According to current regulations, a
pressure washer must never be con-
nected to the drinking water network
without a system separator. A suitable
system separator must be used in ac-
cordance with EN 12729 Type BA.
• Water that has flowed through a
system separator is classified as non-
potable.
• System separators are available from
specialist dealers.
Connecting the water supply
1. Mount the quick connector with filter
insert (28) to the device's water connec-
tion (29).
2 Attach the quick connector for the wa-
ter supply (32) to your supply hose. To
do so, unscrew the grooved clamping
nut and slide it over the end of the
hose. Now guide the protruding sup-
ports of the quick connector (32) into
the end of the hose. Fix the components

in place using the previously threaded
clamping nut.
3. Connect the supply hose to the water
supply.
4. Bleed the supply hose: Open the water
supply until the water flows bubble-free
out of the other end of the supply hose.
Close the water supply.
5. Connect the quick adapter on the sup-
ply hose to the quick connector with
filter insert.
Suctioning water
You can also use the device without a wa-
ter pipe (for example, rain barrel) through
the integrated water suction function.
1. Connect the suction hose with filter
basket to the quick connector with filter
insert (12) on the water connection
(13) of the device.
2. WARNING! Electric shock The
device itself must not be submerged in
the water collector.
NOTE! Contamination through back-
washed cleaning agents Do not draw
in any water from natural accumulati-
ons.
NOTE! Damage through dry running
Ensure there is a sufficient and reliable
water supply.
Insert the end with the filter basket into
the water collector (e.g. rain barrel).

Selecting an attachment

3-in-1 nozzle (23)
you can choose from 3 nozzles by rotating
the tip. A symbol on the lance extension
shows the nozzle which is selected.
