The Natus Quantum ® Breakout Roll Stand consists of a roll stand with a 34 inch (86 cm) high pole. The
following parts are attached to the pole:
• A five-wheel roll stand with two locking castors
• Four shelves designed to secure the position of Quantum Breakout Boxes
A handle used for moving the roll-stand
•
A basket
•
Cable clamps for securing the Breakout to Base Unit cable and the Breakout to Breakout cable
•
(Optionally) Natus photic stimulator placed on top of the pole
•
The roll stand provides mobility in use cases where the patient does not carry the breakout box in the
pouch.
Intended Use:
The Natus Quantum Breakout Roll Stand is intended to be used as an accessory with Natus Quantum
breakouts to position the breakouts on a mobile pole. The roll stand provides a basket as well as a socket
for attachment of devices such as Natus photic stimulator or Natus Brain Monitor breakout arm assembly.
Intended Users and Patient Target Group:
The Natus Quantum Breakout Roll Stand is intended to be used by trained medical professionals and is
designed for use in clinical environments such as hospital rooms, epilepsy monitoring units, intensive
care units, and operating rooms. It can be used with patients of all ages but is not designed for fetal use.
Clinical Benefits:
This Natus Quantum Breakout Roll Stand provides receptacles and cable management for the Quantum
Breakout Boxes MAIN and B in setups where the patient does not need to carry the breakout boxes in the
pouches.

Contraindications and Side Effects:

There are no known contraindications or side effects for using the Natus Quantum Breakout Roll Stand.
Operating Instructions:
1. Place the breakout boxes MAIN & B on two of the four shelves on the roll stand.
2. Connect the breakout to breakout cable, the breakout to base cable, and use cable management
options on the roll stand to protect the cable.
3. Optionally the Natus photic stimulator can be placed on top of the roll stand.
