Warning!
Unintentional triggering of the side airbag
and/ or of belt tensioner !
In case of unintentional ignition of the belt
tensioner or of the side airbag it may happen
that parts fly around.
This can cause serious injury.
Before starting:
Take out the ignition key.
Disconnect the negative terminal at the
battery and wait for 20 minutes.
3.1 Fitting and connecting the external
rocker switch – Figure C
1.
Make a rectangular cut-out measuring 19 x 32
mm for the rocker switch (7) at a clearly visible
location, e.g. in the dashboard
2.
Connect the enclosed cable harness (2) to the
two-pole connector (1) on the seat.
3.
Bear in mind the adjustment travel of the seat
when laying the cables.
Ground connection (-):

Fit the circular tab (3) to the end of the brown
cable (-).
5.
Connect this to a ground point on the car body.
3.2 Current connection (+) – Figure D
The red cable (+) must be connected to a terminal with
ignition current interruption. Depending on the type of
vehicle, select:
Version 1 – Connection A
Fuse location is available
In the fuse box, an unoccupied fuse holder with ignition

Version 2 – Connection A
No
connection
A terminal with ignition current interruption on the non-
fused side in front of the fuse box.
In this case, the enclosed fuse holder (4) with the 20A
must be fitted in the red cable (+).
It this particularly important that you make sure that
the fuse holder is as close to the terminal as
possible and that it is easily accessible. Lay the
short, non-fused part of the supply cable with
particular care, so that no short circuit can arise
here.
