Inverter does not work, "Power" LEd is not lit.
• For most vehicles, voltage is only applied to the cigarette lighter socket when the ignition of
the vehicle is switched on.
• The cigarette lighter plug is not completely inserted into the socket or the plug does not
make contact. Pull the cigarette lighter plug from the cigarette lighter socket and plug it back
in.
• The fuse in the cigarette lighter plug has tripped. Check the fuse and replace it if required.
• The fuse in the cigarette lighter socket in the vehicle has tripped. Check the fuse and replace
it if required.
• The polarity of the cigarette lighter socket does not match that of the cigarette lighter plug of
the inverter.
The middle contact of the cigarette lighter plug is the plus pole (+), the outer contact is the
minus pole (-).
The inverter works only with a consumer with a lower power consumption.
• The connection cable is too long or the line cross-section is too low (e.g. when an extension
cord is used). Replace the connection cable by a shorter one; use a cable with a larger line
cross-section.
Try operating the inverter without an extension cord.
• The consumer's power consumption is too high for the inverter.
• The consumer's power consumption is too high when starting up.
The connected consumer is not working and the "fault" LEd is lit.
• The consumer's power consumption is too high for the inverter; overload protection has
been activated.
• The consumer's power consumption is too high when starting up; overload protection has
been activated.
