Operation and safety notes
• Always remove the inverter from the cigarette lighter of the vehicle when starting the engine.
• Remove the inverter from the cigarette lighter of the vehicle if the vehicle's battery is being
charged by a charger.
• The inverter switches off automatically if the power demand of the connected consumers
exceeds the output power of the inverter. A thermal safety mechanism switches the inverter
off if the temperature rises above 60°C during operation.
• As a means of protection when used in continuous operation, the inverter switches off
automatically after a set time according to the power requirements of the connected
consumers. Shut-off:
- When operating with approx. 75 W output power, automatic shut-off after approx. 1 hour.
- When operating with approx. 70 W output power, automatic shut-off after approx. 2.5 hours.
- When operating with approx. 60 W output power, automatic shut-off after approx. 3.5 hours.
• If the battery voltage drops too quickly during operation without engine support, the inverter
switches off automatically and the LED indicator (2) goes out. Remove the inverter from the
socket of the cigarette lighter of your vehicle. Allow the engine to run for 20 minutes or longer
without consumers connected to the inverter to recharge the vehicle's battery.
When operating the inverter at larger distances from the vehicle, never exceed the
total length (max. 30 m) of the connection cable with a cable of 3 x 1.5 mm
cross-section. Failure to comply with these restrictions may lead to damage to the
inverter.
Connecting USB devices for charging
• To charge a USB device, connect the device to the USB connecting hub (6) using a USB
cable. To do this, slide the cover over the USB connecting hub in the direction of the arrow
to open it.
• Disconnect the USB cable once charging is complete.
• Keep in mind that the power consumption when charging must be included in the total output
power of the inverter if other devices are connected at the same time.
Information on operating AC consumers with inverters
In principle, all types of 230 V/AC consumer can be operated with the inverter. In order to
estimate the power demand and reserves, some important properties of typical 230 V/AC
consumers must be known. The switch-on power of these consumers is many times greater
than the continuous power, which thanks to the reserves is unlikely to pose a problem in normal
mains operation. 8 to 10 times the continuous power is not uncommon. When operating a power
supply by inverter, it must, however, be ensured that the switch-on power of the consumer(s)
does not exceed the peak output power of the supplier. In the event of a peak output power
of 100 W, consumers can be operated with a continuous power of 10 - 12 W. A light bulb, for
example, has a switch-on power of around 8 times the continuous power.
Changing the fuse
• Remove the inverter from the socket of the cigarette lighter and remove all consumers.
• Turn the knurled nut (4) of the fuse holder at the tip of the inverter carefully in an anti-
clockwise direction to open it.
• Replace the fuse with a new fuse of the same type (see "Technical data"). Close the fuse
holder again by screwing it clockwise.
Fuses are replacement parts that are not covered by the warranty! A replacement
fuse is supplied with this product.

Solution
Remove it from the socket of
the cigarette lighter and plug it
in again correctly. If this does
not resolve the error, have the
cigarette lighter in the vehicle
checked by a specialist.
Remove the inverter from the
cigarette lighter. Charge or
replace the battery.
Remove it and the consumer
from the socket of the cigarette
lighter. Wait until the inverter
has cooled to ambient
temperature before using it
again.
Change the fuse (see
"Changing the fuse"). Use
only fuses in accordance with
the technical data in these
instructions.
Care and cleaning
• Always disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning it.
• The product does not require maintenance except for occasional cleaning. Use a soft,
antistatic, lint-free cloth to clean the exterior of the product.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to
the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to protection of the environment.
