after connection of the inverter to the voltage source (e.g. a car battery), you may take
the inverter into operation:
• When connecting the inverter to a cigarette lighter socket, observe chapter 6.
• The "Power" LED of the inverter lights up and indicates readiness for operation.
For most vehicles, voltage is only applied to the cigarette lighter socket when the igni-
tion of the vehicle is switched on.
If the ignition is on and the "Power" LED does not light up, read the chapter "Removal of
interferences".
• Connect a consumer to the mains socket of the inverter.
The rated power of the consumer (see rating plate on the consumer or in its operat-
ing instructions) must not exceed the output of the inverter.
The consumer is ready for operation.
• The "Fault" LED will light up at overload, overtemperature or undervoltage recognition.
• If you want to terminate operation of the inverter, disconnect the consumer from the inverter
and then pull the cigarette lighter plug of the inverter from the cigarette lighter socket.
using a uSB output socket:
This connection may be used, e.g., to charge a smart phone or tablet computer.
The USB output socket supplies a voltage of 5 v/DC and a current of up to 2 A. For this,
the inverter must be connected to the voltage/current supply ("Power" LED is lit).
