Intended Use
The Phototherapy Unit is designed to reduce the serum
bilirubin concentration of premature babies and neonates
by means of phototherapeutic radiation.
Preparation
Mounting on stand
Mount the phototherapy lamp in arms on the stand by the
handles:
1 Insert into the front oval notches first
then slide in at an angle and
2 insert into rear slanted notches.
Check that the unit is firmly in place.
Connecting to mains power supply
3 Mains voltage must correspond with operating voltage
given on the rating plate.
Both switches should be »OFF«.
4 Connect the mains cable to the phototherapy lamp
and then to the mains.
Phototherapy lamps with 90-100 V, 110-115 V
and 120-127 V
5 Check the position of voltage selector switch.
Choose the switch setting according to line voltage
supplied, either 90-100 V, 110-115 VAC
or 120-127 VAC.
