Fluid tip not properly
tightened.
Air distribution ring
soiled or damaged.

Nozzle set is soiled.
Damaged nozzle set. Replace nozzle set
Material flow pres-
sure not constant.
Air cap hole clogged
with paint.
Damaged fluid tip
(fluid tip aperture).
Air distribution ring
not in correct posi-
tion.
Air distribution ring
damaged.
Overwound control.
Loose spindle.
Corrective action
Tighten fluid tip.
Replace air distribu-
tion ring (see chapter
10.2).
Tighten air cap ring
by hand.
Clean gap.
Clean nozzle set.
(see chapter 10.1)
Check material flow
pressure.
Clean air cap (see
chapter 10.1).
Check fluid tip for
signs of damage.
Replace nozzle set if
necessary (see chap-
ter 10.1).
Put air distribution
ring in correct po-
sition (see chapter
10.2).
Replace air distribu-
tion ring (see chapter
10.2).
Remove spindle,
unlock and install
again. Replace spin-
dle if necessary (see
chapter 10.4).
