Software update failed
In case of malfunctions, the cleaning robot can emit light
signals to indicate faults. Fix the fault according to the
following table.

The cleaning robot is too close to the
frame of the glass surface, its range of

Rectification
1. Check the main seal for correct seating in
the mount on the cleaning robot. If neces-
sary, press the main seal into the mount.
2. Clean the main seal with a soft cloth. Do
not use cleaning robot on wet, oily or
greasy glass surfaces.
1. Clean and dry drive wheels.
2. Replace the main seal and check for cor-
rect seating in the mount on the cleaning
robot.
3. Replace the microfibre cleaning cloth and
ensure that it is flush with the cleaning cloth
holder.
4. Place the cleaning robot on the glass sur-
face again
1. Activate rescue mode in the Home & Gar-
den app. In manual mode, move the clean-
ing robot to within reach and remove it from
the glass surface.
1. Clean the suction cup with a soft cloth.
1. Remove knots and twisting of the safety
line.
1. Reset the cleaning robot reset (see note
above under Troubleshooting guide).
1. Place the cleaning robot in the station and
wait until charging process is complete.
1. Remove the cleaning robot from the glass
surface and place it again at a greater dis-
tance from the frame, see Placing the
cleaning robot on a glass surface.
1. Change the microfibre cleaning cloth.
2. Dry the drive wheels.
1. Remove the cleaning robot from the glass
surface and loosen jammed collision sen-
sors and edge sensors.
1. Perform software update again.
Then reset the cleaning robot, by pressing and
holding the on / off button and the release button si-
multaneously 2 s for a longer period of time.

Error description and remedy
● Fault during charging.
Charger or charging plug not plugged in.
Make sure that the charger is properly plugged into a
working mains socket and that the charging plug is cor-
rectly inserted in the charging socket.
Battery terminals to cleaning robot and station not work-
ing.
Ensure that the cleaning robot is placed correctly in the
cleaning robot mount.
Clean battery terminals on cleaning robot and station with
a soft, dry cloth.
Charger damaged.
Replace a damaged charger.
Reset the cleaning robot.
Please contact KÄRCHER Service if the fault occurs
again after a reset.
