5. Required accessories

The package includes a suitable NiMH drive battery for the vehicle, a NiMH battery charger and four AA/Mignon
batteries for the transmitter. When using the vehicle for the first time, you do not need any additional accessories.
However, for best results, we also recommend the following components:
• One or more replacement drive batteries
Warning!
The speed controller in the vehicle is suitable for both a 6-cell NiMH drive battery and a 2-cell LiPo drive
battery.
The NiMH battery charger should only be used to charge a NiMH drive battery. Attempting to charge
a LiPo drive battery with the NiMH battery charger may cause a fire or explosion!
A LiPo drive battery should only be charged with a suitable LiPo battery charger (and a NiMH rechargeable
battery with a NiMH battery charger only). So if you want to purchase a LiPo drive battery for the vehicle,
you will also need a suitable LiPo battery charger.
• Spare tyres (in order to quickly change worn/damaged tyres)
• Stand (for test runs and easier maintenance)
• Tools (e.g. screwdriver, needle-nosed pliers, hex key)
• Compressed air spray (for cleaning)
• Thread-locking fluid (to fix loose screw connections)
• Carry bag
