7 FM RADIO RECEPTION

7.4 Audio mode

The radio automatically switches between stereo and mono depending on the quality of the signal received.
However, you can override this function and manually switch between stereo and mono.
The stereo setting is recommended if you want to play the sound through connected headphones.

3 There are two different options: 'Stereo' and 'Mono Only'.
4 Use the ◂ or ▸ button to select from the two available options. Press the Select button. Your audio settings
selection will now be displayed on the right hand side of the display, opposite Audio Settings in the menu list.
Briefly press the Menu button to return to the station display.

7.5 Store the FM station in a memory location

Your radio can store up to 20 FM stations in its preset memories for instant access to your favourite stations.
Note: If you save FM radio station presets, they will not overwrite your DAB station presets.

If an FM station is already stored under a preset, it will be overwritten when the new station is stored.

7.6 Call up FM stations from a memory location

Briefly press the Preset button. 'Preset Recall' and a list of the numbered preset positions are displayed. The

name or frequency of stored stations is also displayed or '(Empty)' if no previous station has been stored.
2 Use the ◂ or ▸ button the preset station you want to listen to (1-20).
Press the Select button. The radio tunes in to this station and starts playback.
If no FM station has been stored under the Preset button, 'Preset Empty'' will be displayed and the radio will
return to the previously selected radio station.

Hold down the Menu button to call up the menu options.
Use the ◂ or ▸ button to call up Audio Setting.. Briefly press the Select button.
Tune your radio to the station you want to preset (see Automatic station scan).
Hold the Preset button pressed. A list of storage locations is displayed (1-20).
Use the ◂ or ▸ button to select a memory location on which you want to save the
radio station (1-20).
Press the Select button to confirm the saving.
