5 FIRST USE
7 After each further setting, press the Select buttonto jump to the next setting.
To set the date, proceed as described above.
After all settings have been made and the Select button is pressed for the last time, [Time Saved] appears on

the display.
9 Set the 12/24 hour display. Set the date format, DD-MM-YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY and Automatic update of the
time from DAB signal, FM signal, DAB or FM signal or No update.

5.4 Switch operating mode

Briefly press the Mode button to switch between DAB and FM mode.
Please check the display to confirm the mode.

5.5 Keypad lock

Hold the Mode button to activate or deactivate the keypad lock.

5.6 Use headphones

WARNING!
Hearing damage!
Do not listen to the radio at high volume through headphones. This can lead to permanent hearing damage.
Before using headphones, turn the device volume down to the minimum.
Only use headphones with a 3.5 millimetre jack plug.
1 Insert the headphone plug into the headphone socket (9) on the side of the device.
The sound is now played exclusively through the headphones, and the speaker are muted.
2 If you want to hear through the loudspeakers again, pull the headphone plug out of the headphone socket on the
device.
