Prolonged Standard Warranty
The "Standard warranty" can be temporally extended for the respective product groups
(see b), if the customer registers his product within four weeks of the original purchase
date, and stated this by paying the relevant amounts a maximum of three months before
the expiry of the "Standard warranty" conditions. The payable amounts for the extension
of the "Standard warranty"("prolonged standard warranty") conditions are as follows:
•
EUR 385.00 per year and per device of product group A
•
EUR 180.00 per year and per device of product group B
The customer can extend his "Standart warranty" year per year, three months before the
warranty expires, but not longer than:
•
Maximum of 5 additional years for products from Group A and
•
maximum 3 additional years for products from Group B
After the expiration of these periods, the products are subject only to out-of-warranty
service, which is full paid by the customer.
2.
GENERAL WARRANTY CONDITIONS
The warranty is an additional service by NITEHOG and does not affect the customer's
statutory warranty and other statutory rights.
These warranty conditions apply to NITEHOG products that were sold after September
1st, 2020.
The warranty granted by NITEHOG under these warranty conditions is non-transferable
and only applies to the first customer of the product. The Extended and the Prolonged
Warranty requires registration with NITEHOG (see section 1.b), 1c)).
If the product becomes defective due to material or processing defects during the
warranty periods mentioned above, the authorized NITEHOG service network in European
countries will repair the product under the conditions specified in this warranty.
NITEHOG reserves the right to either repair or replace the defective product at its own
discretion. The warranty period is extended by the time it takes to repair or replace the
product.
The warranty does not cover transport costs and all transport risks directly or indirectly
related to the warranty of the products.
The warranty can only be claimed if the customer reports the lack of conformity of the
product in writing within two months after he has recognized the non-conformity of the
product or could have recognized it.
