WARRANTY CONDITIONS
1. WARRANTY PERIODS
a) Standard Warranty
NITEHOG warrants its thermal imaging products to be free from mechanical defects
or faulty workmanship, including sensor, electrics, circuit board and monitor for the
standard period of 2 (two) years as from the date of its original purchase (hereinafter
called "Standard Warranty").
b) Extended Warranty
The Standard Warranty period can be extended to the warranty services, warranty
periods and respective product groups indicated below only if the customer registers
his product within a period of four weeks from the date of purchase (hereinafter called
"Extended Warranty").
The registration is only possible via internet under www.nitehog.eu. Registration shall
only be possible if customer agrees to the terms and conditions and the privacy policy of
NITEHOG's online platform.
For customers who have properly registered their products for the Extended Warranty,
NITEHOG warrants – over and above Standard Warranty services – the following
components from its thermal imaging products to be free from mechanical defects or
faulty workmanship, as well as warranty services for the indicated warranty periods as
from the date of the original purchase of the product:
Product Group A (currently Chameleon and Caiman):
7 (seven) years for software / firmware updates / upgrades, free spare parts for

• 7 (seven) years for repair work to ensure the product is free from defects and
to ensure precision, including spare part costs for optical and mechanical assemblies.
Other spare parts and material costs (i.e. in particular for electronics, sensors, etc.) are
not included.
Product Group B (currently Python):
• 5 (five) years for software / firmware updates / upgrades, free spare parts
for optical
• 5 (five) years for repair work to ensure precision, including spare part costs
for optical and mechanical assemblies. Other spare parts and material costs
(i.e. in particular electronics, sensors, etc.) are not included.
Optical assemblies are objective, eyepiece and collimator.
