Definitions
'Place setting' means a set of tableware
intended for use by one person, excluding
serving dishes.
'Operating cycle' means a complete cleaning,
rinsing and drying cycle, depending on the
selected programme, covering a series of op-
erations until the end of all activities.
'Programme duration' means the period
from the start of the selected programme,
without any preset time programmed by the
user, until the notification of the end of the
programme, from which point the user has
access to the tableware.
'Preset time' means a state in which the user
has postponed the start of the operating
cycle of the selected programme for a certain
period of time.

your own protection and that of third parties.
Please also pay attention to the warnings in
individual chapters on installation and oper-
ation, etc.

Touching live parts may result in severe

Only use the appliance indoors.
Do not use in wet rooms or in the rain.
Do not operate or continue to oper-
ate the appliance if

it exhibits visible damage, e.g.
the connector cable is defective,
the control panel is cracked or the
door function is impaired.
it starts smoking or there is a smell of
burning.
it makes unfamiliar noises.
In these cases, you should pull the mains
plug out of the socket or switch off/un-
screw the fuse and have the appliance
repaired (see „Service" on page  EN-38).
The appliance corresponds to protec-
tion class I and may only be connect-
ed to a plug with a protective conduc-
tor that has been properly installed.
Ensure that the voltage is correct
when connecting it. More detailed in-
formation about this can be found on
the nameplate.
If the mains plug is no longer acces-
sible after connecting it, an all-pole
disconnecting device complying with
overvoltage category III must be con-
nected into the house wiring with a
contact gap of at least 3 mm; consult
a qualifi ed professional if necessary
(see „Service" on page  EN-38).
We recommend using a pulse-sensi-
tive residual-current device (RCD).
The appliance must only be connect-
ed to the mains after completion of
all installation and assembly work.
Do not put any objects in or through
the housing openings and also make
sure that children cannot insert any
objects through them.
Keep the appliance, the mains plug
and the mains cord away from open
fl ames and hot surfaces. The insula-
tion of the mains cord can melt.
