- Any switch that does not work flawlessly
must be replaced by an authorised cus-
tomer support centre.
- Do not use the power tool if the On-Off
switch of the power tool does not switch
on and off securely and reliably.
• Warning ! Do not carry out any altera-
tions to the power tool. The use of at-
tachments or accessories other than
those recommended in these operating
instructions could damage the power
tool and could present a risk of injury for
the operator.
• Have your power tool repaired by a qual-
ified person.
• This power tool fulfils the national and in-
ternational standards and safety require-
ments. Repairs should only be carried
out by qualified persons using original
replacement parts. Otherwise there may
be considerable hazards for the user.

Warning against use by children!
1. Never let children or persons who have
not read and understood these oper-
ating instructions use the leaf blower/
vacuum. Do not use the leaf blower/
vacuum for purposes other than those
described in these operating instruc-
tions.
2. Read the warning labels on the ma-
chine and replace any damaged or il-
legible warning labels.
3. Read through these operating instruc-
tions carefully. Familiarise yourself with
the functions of the controls as well as
with the correct and safe use of the ma-
chine.
4. The operator is responsible for acci-
dents sustained by other persons or
damage to their property.

Preparation
1. Always
wear
appropriate
gloves and sturdy footwear. The wear-
ing of approved protective goggles is
recommended.
2. By means of visual inspection ensure that
no parts of the device are worn out or
damaged before using your leaf blower/
vacuum. Replace parts that are worn out
or damaged. Always check the insulation
of the mains cable and any extensions
cables that may be used for cuts and
points of abrasion as well as the con-
dition of the plugs. All cables with cuts
or signs of wear as well as all damaged
plugs and receptacles must be replaced
before using the leaf blower/vacuum.
3. Before every switch-on of the leaf blow-
er/vacuum, check that there are no
remnants left inside it. These can pre-
sent a hazard.
4. Always ensure that the RCD circuit
breaker is working properly.
5. Use only replacement parts that are
recommended for this product.
6. Please proceed with due caution when
carrying out repairs or adjustments.
7. A leaf blower/vacuum that has been
modified or that is incomplete presents
a hazard and so such a device should
not be operated.
Working with your leaf blower/vacuum
1. Always check the intended working
area for wires or other debris that could
damage the leaf blower/vacuum and
injure the operator.
2. Never feed hard objects such as stones,
bottles, cans or metal parts into the leaf
blower/vacuum. This can damage the
machine and could injure both the op-
erator and bystanders.
3. Never use the machine whilst other
persons, in particular children or ani-
mals, are nearby.
