CAUTION: Panel sticking and
after-image lag
• Displaying the same images
such as still images for a long
time may cause after-image
lagging. This may occur in the
following two cases.
1. After-image lagging due to
remaining electrical load
When image patterns with very
high peak luminance are dis-
played for more than 1 minute,
after-image lagging may occur
due to the remaining electric
load. The after-images remain-
ing on the screen will disappear
when moving images are dis-
played. The time for the after-
images to disappear depends
on the luminance of the still
images and the time they had
been displayed.
2. After-image lagging due to
sticking
When images of the same
pattern
continuously for several hours
or displayed for a short period
of time every day, after-images
may remain on the screen due
to the sticking of the fluorescent
materials. In this case, these
images may decrease if moving
images are displayed after
them, but basically they will not
disappear.
• Avoid displaying the same im-
ages continuously over a long
period of time with the Plasma
Display.

peut se produire dans les deux
cas suivants :
1. Retard d'après-image dû à la
charge électrique résiduelle
Lorsque des types d'images à
luminance très élevée sont
affichés pendant plus d'une
minute, un retard d'après-
image peut se produire en
raison de la charge électrique
résiduelle. Les après-images
qui
disparaissent si des images
mobiles sont affichées. Le
temps
disparition des après-images
dépend de la luminance des
images immobiles et de la
durée pendant laquelle elles

ont été affichées.
2. Retard d'après-image dû à un
collage
Lorsque des images de même
type sont affichées de manière
continue pendant plusieurs
heures ou bien affichées
pendant une courte durée
chaque jour, des après-images
peuvent rester sur l'écran en
raison du collage des matières
fluorescentes. Dans ce cas, ces
images peuvent diminuer si
des images mobiles sont
affichées après elles sans
toutefois dispara"tre jamais
complètement.
• Eviter d'afficher les mêmes im-
ages continuellement pendant

l'écran à plasma.

Bilder, wie beispielsweise
stillstehender Bilder, über

beiden Fällen auftreten:
1. Nachbild infolge elektrischer
Restladung.
Werden Bildmuster mit sehr
hoher Spitzenleuchtdichte
länger als 1 Minute angezeigt,
kann aufgrund der elektrischen
Restladung
ein
Nachbild
auftreten. Die auf dem Schirm
verbleibenden Nachbilder
verschwinden,
sobald
bewegliche Bilder angezeigt
werden. Die Zeit bis zum
Verblassen der Nachbilder
hängt von der Helligkeit der
stillstehenden Bilder und der
jeweiligen Zeit ihrer Anzeige
ab.
2. Nachbild durch „Festkleben"
Werden Bilder desselben
Musters fortlaufend mehrere
Stunden lang oder täglich
während
eines
kurzen
Zeitraums angezeigt, können
durch
Festkleben
fluoreszierenden
Stoffe
Nachbilder auf dem Schirm
verbleiben. Diese Bilder können
verblassen, wenn im Anschluß
daran
bewegliche
Bilder
angezeigt
werden,
grundsätzlich verschwinden sie
jedoch nicht.
• Vermeiden Sie, mit dem
Plasma-Display über einen
längeren Zeitraum ständig
dieselben Bilder anzuzeigen.
