4.3. Ringtone selection
Different ringtones can be selected for four different incoming calls (door calls from two different external video units, floor call, internal call).

All LEDs will light up and a confirmation signal will be heard: the ringtone selection is now active

Briefly press the Do not disturb button.
All LEDs will switch off and a confirmation signal will be heard. The ringtone selection is now deactivated.
The ringtone selection will also end automatically 8 seconds after the last button has been pressed
* By default all external video units use the same ringtone. If you want to set a different ringtone for an external unit, you need to change the "audio external
video unit limit" first. This is only possible in the Niko configuration software for access control.

• Press the light switch button for approx. 4 s.

Error / issue / malfunction
The video image is black/white.
The colours of the video image,
or the image in general are too
bright.

Possible causes
The colour saturation of the internal unit is at its
minimum.
Sending level of the video bus is too limited.
The light intensity does not achieve the minimum value
of 10 lux. Therefore the camera is switching to black
and white.
The colour saturation is set too high.
The brightness was set too high.
The video signal is too strong.
The terminal resistor at the end of the line is not in its
position.
Press the button repeatedly until you hear the ringtone of your choice (there are 13
different ringtones to choose from). The last selected ringtone will be saved

Adjust the contrast / the colour saturation.
The sending level can be adjusted on many elements of
the video bus.

The camera module of the external unit
is not at all light sensitive. Ensure sufficient lighting or
switch to external cameras.
Decrease the colour saturation using the control button.
Decrease brightness using the control button on the
station.
Reduce the signal of the video bus (e.g. rotary control
button on printed circuit board of the camera only
functions if the terminal resistor on the post or on active
function extensions has been placed correctly.)
Place the terminal resistor in position.
