working order.

Limit the operating time! All stages of the
operating cycle must be considered (for
example, times in which the electric tools are
switched off and times in which the tool is
switched on but operates without load).
Caution!
Residual risks
Even if you use this electric power tool in
accordance with instructions, certain
residual risks cannot be rules out. The
following hazards may arise in connection
with the equipment's construction and
layout:
1. Lung damage if no suitable protective dust
mask is used.
2. Damage to hearing if no suitable ear
protection is used.

5. Before starting the equipment

Before you connect the equipment to the mains
supply make sure that the data on the rating
plate are identical to the mains data.
Warning!
Always pull the power plug before making
adjustments to the equipment.

T he machine has to be set up where it can
stand firmly, e.g. on a work bench, or it must
be bolted to a strong base.

W hen working with wood that has been
processed before, watch out for foreign
bodies such as nails or screws etc.
B efore you actuate the On/Off switch, make
sure that the saw blade is correctly fitted and
that the machine's moving parts run
smoothly.
6. Assembly
Danger!
Pull out the power plug before carrying out
any maintenance, resetting or assembly work
on the circular saw!
6.1 Fitting/removing the saw blade guard
(Fig. 3)
U nscrew the rotary knob (33) as far as
possible until the rotary knob (33) touches
the selflocking nut (34).
C aution! Do not move the self-locking nut
(34).
P ush the lock bolt (35) as far as possible
through the saw blade guard (2), so that the
square profile of the lock bolt (35) projects
out of the saw blade guard (2).
H olding the lock bolt (35) pressed, guide the
saw blade guard (2) into the L-shaped
recess (18) in the splitter by the lock bolt
(35), guiding it forward at first and then
downwards.
T hen push the lock bolt (35) with the square
profile back into the recess in the saw blade
guard (2) with a tight fit.
S crew the rotary knob (33) back tightly as
far as it will go. Important! The screw
connection between the lock bolt (35) and
the rotary knob (33) is designed to allow the
saw blade guard (2) to be able to move
freely at all times.
W arning! The saw blade guard (2) must

6.2 Changing the table insert (Figure 4)

table insert should be changed whenever it is
worn or damaged.
