Replacing the filter

The following rules apply here.
– Filters should always be replaced either in the
area where dust is present or in the open air.
– Both filters must be replaced after using the de-
vice to remove harmful substances regardless of
the filter change display.
– If the composition of the particles vacuumed up
is unknown then the filters should be replaced in
their entirety on site. Replace both to ensure
contamination cannot be disseminated in clean
areas.
– How long filters last depends on the quantity of
dust ingested. Very fine dust can greatly reduce
this period. Replace saturated filters.
– First change the first stage filter and then restart
the device if the filter change display comes on.
If the display stays on then change the main fil-
ter.
– Let the device dry before installing any new filter.
Procedure
a) Switch off the device before starting work and
pull out the mains plug.
b) Open both filter cassette quick action latches.
a) Take the filter cassette out of the device hous-
ing.

b) Remove the first stage air filter.
Cover the cassette with a plastic bag to do so.
Turn the cassette so that the first stage filter en-
ters the bag slowly and free of dust.
Remove the filter cassette and seal the bag.
c) Remove the bag from the area where there is
dust.
d) Remove the main air filter.
e) Put a new first stage filter in the cassette.
a) Insert a new main filter in the device housing.
a) Insert the first stage filter cassette in the device
housing.
b) Close both filter cassette quick action latches.
 The filter is now replaced.

Spare parts must meet the technical requirements
specified by HEYLO. HEYLO‑original spare parts
must meet stringent requirements.
