The professional associations recommend a 15-fold air exchange.
Air purifying measures should be carried out as from an exposition of more than 10 mg/cum.
Example:
A 15-fold air exchange is required for a room volume of 30 cum.
The required air volume is 15 x 30 cum, thus at least 450 cum/h. HEYLO FT 500
cleans abt. 470 cum/h in mode of operation "5".
A sufficient air exchange is thus ensured.
The precise requirements are listed in the installation guidelines mentioned in chapter (7).

(6) Filter and change of filter

Filter system: The air filter FT 500 uses a two-stage filter system which uses the latest HEPA filter
technique. The first filter stage consists of a Z line pre-filter and the main filter stage from a robust
HEYLO filter of the dust classes M or H.
Please refer to the following table to determine which filter class is required for which material:
Change of filter indicator: When the signal is sounded, the pre-filter has to be replaced and the main
filter has to be vacuumed (if the type of dust is not known, use safety vacuum cleaner of dust class H)
wearing personal protection equipment. After several, however after a maximum of five cleaning
processes the main filter has to be replaced as well. A change / cleaning of the filter should be
documented by a sticker on the device if possible. Please remember to have sufficient filter material
available in order to prevent interruption of the work.
