patients, co-workers and themselves. To avoid cross-contamination, follow infection control policies
established by your facility.
Dispose of single-use components as infectious waste. Clean and disinfect reusable components after each

use.
See your ultrasound system's user guide for reprocessing transducer between use.

This procedure for reprocessing has been validated for effectiveness and compatibility. Device could be
n
damaged or cross-contaminated due to improper reprocessing.
Do not gas sterilize or autoclave bracket.

If bracket damage is evident, discontinue use and contact your CIVCO representative.

DISASSEMBLING BRACKET FOR CLEANING
NOTE: For multi-angle brackets only.
CLEANING THE BRACKET
1. After each use, remove bracket from transducer, discarding single-use, disposable components. Remove visible
contaminants from bracket surface using a small, soft instrument brush. Keep bracket from drying out until
complete cleaning can be accomplished.
2. Inspect bracket for damage such as cracks or breakage.
