6 Putting into operation
The FES-200 starts automatically when the welding process is started.
NOTE
Type France: connect the additional exhaust air hose to the exhaust box. (Fig. 2 Functional Description on
page EN-7)
NOTE
Switch on the automatic function to increase the service life of the fume extraction system.
When an increased smoke concentration is detected in the working area:
• Stop the welding process.
• A function check is required before putting into operation.
4 Use the rotary switch to switch on the device
• I = permanent operation
• 0 = off
• Auto = start-stop pliers are active (device runs only during the welding process, and keeps running for
the set time of approx. 1 minute).
6.2 Installation
Select a location that allows a short and straight extraction hose feed and prevents it from entering the
employee's space of movement.
6.3 Mains connection

Electric shock

Dangerous voltage due to defective cables.
• Check all live cables and connections for proper installation.
• Replace any damaged, deformed or worn parts.
