- Route the mains cable so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
- Do not kink the mains cable and do not route it over sharp edges.
- Ensure that children do not insert any objects into the heat
pump.
- Keep the openings free of foreign objects.
- Always switch off the heat pump and pull the mains plug out of
the power socket when you are not using the heat pump, are
cleaning it or if a malfunction occurs.
- Ensure that the actual operating voltage does not deviate from
the rated voltage by any more than 10% (see the "Technical
data").
- A circuit breaker with a 16 A slow-blow breaker must be
connected upstream of the heat pump as a protective device;
this protective device must only supply the heat pump. Even
when using a protective device with all-pole interruption, a
differential switch with a differential current not exceeding
30 mA must be used.
- Ensure that the electrical system to which the heat pump is
connected has an earth conductor.
- If a mains plug is installed for connection to the mains, it must
have a degree of protection of at least IPX4 and a terminal for
connecting the earth conductor. The same applies for the
conductor of the electrical supply, which must also have an earth
conductor.
- Protect the power cable and the power plug from rain and
moisture.
- Protect the power cable and the power plug from damage.
