4. Product introduction

Control CUE is a series of complete control cabinets with a built-
in Grundfos CUE frequency converter and all necessary electrical
components.
With the startup guide in the frequency converter, you can quickly
set central parameters and put the frequency converter into
operation.
The frequency converter quickly adapts the pump speed to the
actual demand if it is connected to a sensor or an external control
signal.
If the pump speed exceeds the rated speed, the
pump will be overloaded.
Do not use the Control CUE in connection with a
Grundfos motor protection device as MP 204.
The sub components in the control cabinet are only described in
these instructions when they are important for the operation of
the CUE frequency converter unit.
The following documentation is supplied with the cabinet:
• safety instructions for the CUE frequency converter
• installation and operating instructions for the frequency
converter for the given size
• additional instructions, if any (for example CIU 200, 260 or
280)
• functional profile for the frequency converter
• circuit diagram for the Control CUE.
