carregador do pacote de baterias ou da tomada de energia.

Não use o carregador com um fio de extensão.

•
After a long storage period (winter) - Batteries lose charge during
long term storage.
•
Any time trimmer does not start within 15-20 seconds or the starter
motor does not turn the engine over. First, fully charge the batteries.
If that doesn't help, see Trouble Shooting Guide, page 36.
•
It is recommended that batteries be kept charged during the cutting
season.
•
It is recommended that a charged battery be kept as a "spare" or
back-up.
NOTICE: Batteries are not being recharged while trimmer engine is
running.
HOW TO CHARGE:
The batteries can either be charged while the battery pack is installed in
the trimmer or the battery pack can be removed from the trimmer and
charged where it's more convenient.
Charging a battery pack while installed in the trimmer:
1. Place the trimmer near a 220 V AC power outlet and insert the
round charger plug into the receptacle in the battery pack and the
charger into the wall outlet.
2. The green indicator light will light up if there is power in the outlet
and the batteries and charger are functioning properly.
3. To completely charge a fully discharged battery pack requires ap-
proximately 18 hours. There is no danger of overcharging.
4. Do not charge the batteries in areas where the temperatures ex-
ceed 100

•
Não incinere o pacote de baterias danificado ou gasto. Ele poderá
explodir provocando fogo. Recicle! (veja informações sobre reciclagem,
página 14).
•
Não abra o pacote de baterias por nenhum motivo; não há peças que
necessitem ser reparadas pelo usuário no interior deste equipamento.
•
Não ligue o carregador a um pacote de baterias danificado. Se a carcaça
de plástico rachar-se ou quebrar-se, descontinue o uso e não recarregue.
Substitua com um novo pacote de baterias.
•
Cuidado para não provocar curto-circuito nos contatos da bateria ao
remover o pacote de baterias do aparador. Não permita que o metal
toque nos contatos do pacote de baterias. Isso poderá resultar em
lesões pessoais ou danos ao pacote de baterias.
•
Não submerja o pacote de baterias na água.
•
Carregue somente com o carregador suprido pelo fabricante.
•
Não opere ou armazene perto de chamas abertas.

Après une longue période d'inactivité (hiver). Les batteries perdent
leur charge pendant l'inactivité prolongée.
•
Il faut charger la batterie complètement chaque fois que le
débrousailleur ne démarre pas dans les 15 à 20 secondes ou quand
le démarreur ne fait pas tourner le moteur. Si cela n'aide pas,
consulter le Guide de dépannage, page 37.
•
Il est recommandé de continuellement maintenir la batterie chargée
pendant la saison de coupe.
•
Il est recommandé de garder une batterie chargée de secours ou en
réserve.
REMARQUE – La batterie ne se recharge pas pendant le fonctionnement
du moteur du débrousailleur.
COMMENT LA CHARGER ?
Il est possible de charger la batterie quand elle est installée sur le
débrousailleur. Si c'est plus pratique, il est possible de charger la batterie
après l' avoir enlevée du débrousailleur.
Charge d'une batterie installée sur le débrousailleur
1. Placer le débrousailleur près d'une prise de 220 V courant alternatif
et brancher la fiche ronde du chargeur dans la prise de la batterie et
le chargeur dans la prise murale.
2. Le voyant vert s'allume si la prise est sous tension et si le chargeur
et les batteries fonctionnent correctement.
3. Il faut environ 18 heures pour recharger une batterie complètement
déchargée. Il n'y a pas de risque de surcharge.
4. Il ne faut pas charger la batterie dans un endroit où la température
dépasse 38 °C (100 °F) ou tombe au-dessous de 0 °C (32 °F), sous
peine d'endommager la batterie.
