1. INTRODUCTION:
This installation manual is intended for use by persons with adequate knowledge
of electrical, mechanical and combustion engineering. We would like to remind
you that improper and/or incorrect installation of the stove could cause serious
personal injury and/or damage to property. The warranty does not cover damage
caused by improper and/or incorrect installation and/or failure to comply with the
instructions in this manual. Neither the manufacturer nor the distributor can be
held responsible for the interpretation of this information, nor can they take any
responsibility for the use made of it.
Information, specifications and parameters are subject to change without no-
tice due to technical improvements. The exact specifications can be found on the
nameplate label.
The stove must be installed by an authorised Qlima installer. This is the only way
the end user can be sure that the installer has adequate preparation and knowl-
edge of the product.
The stove can only operate risk-free when it is connected to a properly functioning
chimney/flue pipe that has been professionally installed. The chimney/flue pipe
system must always be installed in compliance with local legislation and/or the
regulations imposed by the insurance company and/or the instructions given in this
manual. The most stringent regulations will take precedence over the others.
Even when it has been installed with a suitable chimney/flue pipe system and/or
with direct fresh air supply to the stove, it must never be considered an independ-
ent room combustion system.
The illustrations found in this manual are used exclusively for the purpose of clari-
fication and indication and may differ from the actual stove purchased.
