2. Maintenance Contract

A maintenance contract for this unit can be
concluded with the responsible KÄRCHER
Sales Office.

3. Cleaning The Strainer

Strainer in the water inlet
Shut off the water inlet,
Unscrew the water inlet hose off the unit,
Push the strainer out of the connection with
a screwdriver,
Clean the strainer,
Re-install in reverse sequence

Whole unit
Drain oil. Fill up with new oil,
order no. 6.288-016.
Check the level on the oil reservoir.
Visually inspect the unit,
check the high-pressure
connections for leaks,
check the overflow valve for leaks,
check the high-pressure hose,
check the pulsation damper,
clean/replace the fuel filter,
decarbonise, descale the heating coil,
clean/replace the ignition
electrodes,
clean/replace the burner nozzle,
adjust the burner
Safety inspection in accordance with
Directives for liquid spraying devices
Strainer in the water level sensor
Remove the panels
Unscrew the hose off the float tank on the
high-pressure pump
Screw an M8x30 screw into the strainer
Pull out the screw and strainer with pliers
Clean the strainer
Re-install in reverse sequence
