E. Troubleshooting
Possible cause
Exhaust gas temperature limiter has
tripped.
Inhibitor used up.
Metering valve set to position "0".
Detergent filter blocked or
reservoir empty.
Detergent suction hoses,
metering valve or solenoid
valve leaking or blocked.
Electronics module or solenoid valve
defective.
Nozzle scoured.
Detergent reservoir empty.
Insufficient water.
Strainer on water inlet blocked.
Detergent metering valve leaking.
Float valve sticking.
Float control valve leaking.
Vibration damper defective.
Vibration damper defective.
Water pump drawing in a little air.
Nozzle in spray lance blocked.
Unit is calcified.
Switching point of the overflow
valve has shifted.
Strainer on the water level sensor
is dirty.
Pump has not been completely
vented.
Safety valve or safety valve seal
defective.
Remedy
Open the handgun until the unit has
cooled down. On the operator panel
switch the unit off and on to unlock
the temperature limiter. If the problem
persists, call customer service.
Refill.
Set the RM metering valve.
Clean or fill.
Check, clean.
Replace.
Replace nozzle.
Refill with detergent.
Ensure adequate water supply.
Check, remove and clean strainer.
Check and seal.
Check for easy movement.
Check the setting; if required,
install new seal.
Check valve components;
if damaged replace; if dirty clean.
Replace vibration damper.
Check suction system and eliminate
leaks.
Check and clean.
See "Descalcification".
Have overflow valve reset.
Clean strainer.
Set unit switch to "STOP" and pull
handgun until no liquid comes out of
the nozzle. Then switch on the unit
again. Repeat this process until full
operating pressure has been
reached.
Replace safety valve or seal.
