Troubleshooting
In case of a warning or error, please try to eliminate the cause using the suggested
remedies. Always try to repeat the process and perform further measurements in
order to rule out one-off effects. If the problem still occurs during the repeated
attempt, contact DrägerService.
5.1.1

Warnings

Warnings are displayed together with the relevant icon, a yellow bar in the central
display section, and a text note where applicable. As they are not always
associated with the risk of an incorrect measurement result, a measurement can
still be performed when some warnings are displayed.
5.1.2

Errors

Errors are displayed together with the relevant icon, a red bar in the central display
section, and a text note where applicable.

Miscellaneous

If the X-act 7000 no longer responds to any interaction with the keys, you can carry
out a forced shutdown of the system. To do so, hold down both the UP and DOWN
arrow keys. The LED signal light then starts to pulse with an increasing frequency
until the device turns itself off. If a CMS chip or MicroTubes with defective
RFID/NFC tag have inadvertently been inserted in the X-act 7000, this is not
detected by the device and the insertion well for the MicroTubes remains blocked to
other MicroTubes until further notice. To remove the obstacle, MicroTubes with the
RFID/NFC tag can be held in the recessed grip under the X-act 7000. The device
reads the RFID/NFC tag and allows the blocking cartridge to be discharged with the
right UP arrow key. At this point, it is once again explicitly noted that the X-act 7000
is not compatible with CMS chips and the use of incorrect RFID/NFC tag data for
measurements leads to incorrect results due to the preparation- and lot-specific
calibration. If an X-act 7000 is not recognized by the CC-Vision software,
disconnect the USB cable from the port on the computer, re-insert it (at a different
port if necessary), and try to establish a connection once again.
