Cause
Self-test of the pneumatic system
when starting the X-act 7000 or
before a measurement was not suc-
cessful; the pump was not able to
achieve the normal mass flow on
time due to a blockage in the gas
path;
The check to ensure that the Micro-
Tube to be measured is intact
before measurement was not suc-
cessful; the tip of the MicroTube
was damaged before measurement
The MicroTubes-specific mass flow
could not be achieved on time at the
start of the measurement due to a
blockage in the gas path; the tip of
the MicroTube on the outlet side
was not broken
Deviation of the mass flow drawn in
by the pump too large over the
entire measurement duration
Mechanical integration of the Micro-
Tubes into the gas path was not
successful; the outlet side of the
MicroTube could not be contacted
by the gas needle
Mechanical integration of the Micro-
Tubes into the gas path was not
successful; the inlet side of the

Troubleshooting

make sure that the gas outlet is
not sealed (e.g. by fingers, con-
tamination)
Start new measurement

outlet is not sealed (e.g. by fin-
gers, contamination); when
using a pre-tube (e.g. ppb
Booster Basic), make sure that
all tips have been broken
