Screw in the appropriate high-pressure
nozzle
Depending on the flow rate of the high-pressure clean-
er, the appropriate high-pressure nozzle must be used.
 350 l/h - 450 l/h = high-pressure nozzle 035 --> 1
 450 l/h - 550 l/h = high-pressure nozzle 045 --> 2
 550 l/h - 700 l/h = high-pressure nozzle 060 --> 3
 700 l/h - 1000 l/h = high-pressure nozzle 080 --> 4
1. Screw the high-pressure nozzle into the connection
using the Allen key.
Mounting the spray lance on the roller brush
1. Screw the spray lance (on site) on to the connection
of the roller brush and tighten it.
Mounting the telescopic rod on the roller
brush
Note

axle of the roller brush.
1. Screw the telescopic rod (see list of accessories) on
to the connection of the roller brush and tighten it.

Operation

Tips for cleaning the solar module
 A safe workplace when cleaning: Use an elevating
work platform or scaffolding.
Illustration E
 Cleaning using an elevating work platform or scaf-
folding: Clean modules from the top (telescopic rod
extended) downwards (telescopic rod pushed to-
gether).
 Cleaning from the roof ridge: Clean modules from
the top (telescopic rod pushed together) downwards
(telescopic rod extended).
 Clean large areas in sectors.
12
 Only possible with heated high-pressure cleaners
(HDS units): If necessary, we recommend using the
RM 99 detergent. Set temperature to max. 40 °C.
 For high-pressure cleaners with adjustable water
volume: Work with maximum amount of water.
 Carry out cleaning work with at least 2 persons in or-
der to be able to provide assistance when pulling the
hose along, operating the high-pressure cleaner or
holding the telescopic rod.
DANGER
Fall hazard
Risk of injury
Make sure to stand safely during cleaning work. Hold
the telescopic rod firmly when working, especially when
the telescopic rod is extended or fully extended, and on-
ly move it longitudinally, not sideways.
DANGER
Drive hazard
Risk of injury
Do not run the drive without the cleaning brushes
mounted, otherwise your fingers and hair could be
caught.
Note
When cleaning the facade, the use of the carrying sys-
tem (see list of accessories) is recommended in order to
significantly reduce the holding forces.
1. Put the high-pressure cleaner into operation in ac-
cordance with the manufacturer's operating instruc-
tions.
2. Use the telescopic rod in accordance with the man-
ufacturer's operating instructions.
3. Open the high-pressure gun or ball tap on the tele-
scopic rod and carry out cleaning.
1. Close the high-pressure gun or ball tap on the tele-
scopic rod.
2. Switch off the high-pressure cleaner.
3. Open the high-pressure gun or ball tap on the tele-
scopic rod again to release the pressure still in the
system.
