Unscrew handle and turn retaining plate (D). Then screw the
handle back on.
CAUTION
The hinged arm is exclusively designed for installation on rail
systems with the dimensions 10 x 25 mm (DIN) and 10 x 30 mm
(Fairfield).
NOTE
Mount the hinged arm in the center of one of the side rails.
If necessary, attach the enclosed universal hose clips to any
location on the profile.

Cleaning and Disinfecting
Following use, the product must be disposed of in accordance with
the hygiene and waste disposal regulations of the hospital.
Remove visible dirt with a disposable cloth
After manual cleaning, perform surface disinfection

Manual disinfection
Manual disinfection can be carried out preferably with
disinfectants based on aldehydes or quaternary ammonium
compounds. The efficiency of the disinfectants used must be
proven. Observe the applicable country-specific listings. The list of
the Association for Applied Hygiene (VAH List) applies in German-
speaking countries. The user must be sure to observe the
manufacturer's information on the disinfectant exactly.
WARNING
Penetrating liquid may lead to failure of or damage to the
device which may endanger the patient! Only disinfect parts
by wiping and make sure no liquids penetrate into the
device.
Remove disinfectant residues.
Disinfect the hinged arm by wiping, e.g., with Buraton 10F
(manufactured from Schülke & Mayr, Norderstedt, Germany).
Disposal of the medical device
When disposing of the medical device:
Consult the relevant waste disposal company for appropriate
disposal.
Observe the applicable legal regulations.
