3. Preparing the camera
Closing: To close the camera safely you must first insert the contacts of
the secondary battery compartment into the socket in the upper part of the
camera housing. Then hook the two plastic clips of the locking brackets into
the holder and press down.

3.2 Inserting Batteries
The working voltage of the Wild-Vision Full HD 5.0 is 6V. It has two battery
compartments for four batteries each and can be operated with either four or
optional eight disposable or rechargeable batteries of the type LR6 (AA) 1.5
V Mignon respectively.
Important: The camera must be turned off before inserting new batteries!
Please use either disposable or rechargeable batteries. To avoid damage
to the camera do not mix different types of batteries.
Main battery compartment: The main battery compartment is accessible
through the bottom plate of the camera. To open the plate unscrew the small
brass-colored screw. If you fold away the bottom plate, you will see the bat-
tery compartment cover. Press
"PUSH" on the cover lightly to
open it. Insert four fully-charged
batteries, pay close attention to
the battery polarity written on the
compartment door! Close the
battery compartment by pres-
sing down the protective cover
until the lock engages.
