150N INFL ATABLE LIFEJACKET
This level is intended for general application or for use with foul weather clothing. It will turn an
unconscious person into a safe position and requires no further subsequent by the user to maintain
this position.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
Lifejackets only reduce the risk of drowning. They are not guaranteed to save lives. When wearing
waterproof clothing (sailing clothing, flotation suit etc.), the lifejacket's functionality may be impaired,
e.g. the ability to turn over.
This is not a lifejacket until fully inflated. An uninflated lifejacket offers no safety to the wearer. If
the gas inflation fails, the wearer must be aware that the lifejacket can be inflated using the mouth
inflation tube. Train yourself in the use of the device. The lifejacket is put on like a jacket and is worn
outermost. Secure using the front buckle and crutch strap buckle. Adjust the waistband/crutch strap
to be as tight as possible without being uncomfortable. The lifejacket must be worn over any safety
harness. There is a whistle inside the protective cover. The emergency light (optional) is activated
automatically upon immersion. The emergency light is located on the left hand side of the lifejacket,
inside the protective cover. The sprayhood (optional) is located behind the neck, under the protective
cover. Pull the sprayhood over your head and secure with the elastic around the bottom of the life-
jacket.
The lifejacket must be inspected and serviced at least annually by a Baltic service station. Alter-
natively you can carry out a personal inspection. Please refer to www.baltic.se for full instructions.
Temperatures under +5°C, can slow the inflation time. Do not use the lifejacket as a cushion. Store
the jacket in a well-ventilated and dry area. Clean the lifejacket regularly by rinsing it in fresh water;
