Mounting and Connection Instructions DUO I/O-Module BUS-2/BUS-1
4.

Operation at BUS-1

4.1

Data transmission

Detector groups:
Each detector group status is transmitted
separately via its own address to the control
panel.
Tamper monitoring:
The triggering of the cover contact is signalled
at all 4 addresses as tamper.
LED indicator and outputs:
See table on the right
4.2

Operating modes

The desired type of module is determined in the control panel programming and must be defined
separately for every address that is used.
4.2.1

Operation as detector group connection module

LEDs as detector group status indication
Activation of the LEDs also depends on the operating state of the control panel (armed or
disarmed).
Activation of the outputs (O1 and O2) runs parallel to activation of the LEDs (LED1 and LED2).
4.2.2

Operation as switching module

Function of the LEDs freely programmable
The function of the LEDs is defined in the control panel programming.
Activation of the outputs (O1 and O2) runs parallel to activation of the LEDs (LED1 and LED2).
LED3 and LED4 are available as required as status indications.
Detector group inputs are not supported in this operating mode!
4.2.3

Operation as universal connection module

Function of LEDs freely programmable (irrespective of detector group status).
The function of the LEDs is defined in the control panel programming.
Each address has two independent functions:
1.) Detector group status query
2.) Activation of LED
Activation of outputs (O1 and O2) runs parallel to activation of the LEDs (LED1 and LED2).
LED3 and LED4 are available as required as status displays.
