Function

3.1

Detector group inputs

The four detector groups operate with a stabilized voltage of 8 V DC, the internal resistance is 1k.
End of line resistor 12k1, monitoring range: ±20% (depending on the operating mode the values can
be changed).
Not only the integrated resistor but also the external end of line resistor can be used for each
detector group.
The terminals are suitable for Z wiring.
Clear function:
The clear signal from the control panel resets status-storing detectors without logic (e.g. passive
glass breakage sensors) after triggering.
3.2 LED indication
LEDs are always activated from the control panel via the
BUS
There are 2 possibilities of LED indication:
1.) LEDs as Detector group status indication
An LED lights up when the corresponding detector
group has triggered.
Assignment:
DG1ª LED1, DG2ª LED2, DG3ª LED3, DG4ª LED4.
2.) Freely programmable function of LEDs (irrespective
of the detector group status).
Each LED can be assigned a separate function in the
control panel programming.
The type of indication depends on the selected operating mode (see Chapter 4 for operation at
BUS-1, Chapter 5 for operation at BUS-2 ).
3.3

Semiconductor outputs

Two "open collector" outputs, LOW active, short circuit protected, current limited.
Limit values:
If higher voltages or currents are required, the DUO Switching Module 230V AC / 8A (Item no.
010121.17) can be activated using both outputs. The module provides 2 relay outputs each with a
potential-free changeover contact.
Activation of outputs:
Activation of outputs (O1 and O2) runs parallel to activation of the LEDs (LED1 and LED2).

Exception: Operation at BUS-2 as DUO I/O-Module (see Chapter 5.2.2).
