9) Before starting the blade reciprocation, verify that the blade has been fully inserted by inspection of the
entry region. The small section of brown-colored sleeve should be visible, but none of the metal portion
of the blade. If any of the metal portion of the blade is visible, as illustrated below, then the user should
remove the blade and reposition the Handpiece and/or select the shallower depth for improved tissue
capture.
10) Once the blade is verified within the subcutaneous space, depress the power button to turn on the
Motor Module for reciprocation of the blade. Advance the Motor Module slowly along the track of the
Guidance Platform to release the subcutaneous tissue covering the extent of the treatment area as
marked.
WARNING
Do not power the Motor Module without the blade being fully inserted and the Motor Module guide
pin being past the Skin Insertion track on the Guidance Platform. Failure to do so could result in
damage to the blade and or injury to the user.
11) After tissue release, power off the Motor Module. Adequacy of the release may be confirmed by
repeated movement of the Motor Module through the Guidance Tracks with the power off. Power may
be turned back on while the Motor Module guide pin is within the arcs of the track to release any areas
not previously released.
12)
Withdraw the Micro-Blade Assembly/Motor Module from the insertion site, and remove it from the
Vacuum Handpiece being careful to maintain sterility of the Micro-Blade Assembly
WARNING
Failure to do so could result in damage to the blade and/or injury to the user or patient. Do not attempt to
straighten or repair blade as this could cause injury to the patient or user.
Motor Module should be OFF BEFORE Moving into or out of this area

The blade is very sharp. Handle with care once the cover has been removed.
Power off the Motor Module prior to movement out of the arcs of the Guidance Track.
